Top Ten Topic: Ten RMN members you would hire to run a business
1. Holbert - He's the only one I would hire to actually run one
2. I would hire anyone else for any job provided that you will work for 20 cents an hour (Or atleast something signifigantly below minumum wage)

American Elections '08
I created a computer program that caculates in various statistics about what they're going to do from everything to the war to off-shore drilling to chance of dieing in office by using various internet feeds, with a hint of randomness and who the publics leaning on, and chooses the one that best fits want I want and need.
Currently it shows McCain
Actually, I don't like either of them that much, maybe I'll show my hate for both of them by not voting? When you think about it, it doesn't make that much difference seeing as how we still don't vote directly for the president, the people we elect to the electorial college do.

Just a layout question...

I feel honored that people took the time to snoop through my images.
Nope, no snooping here.
What comes to mind from the username above you?
A gaming company that creates MMOs where upon starting they give you very little instruction on how to play and where to go, and start off new players in the middle of a giant chaotic battle between opposing guilds with level 789 players.
Ridiculous projects ideas you've had in the past/present.
I once had the plan to create a gigantic RPG/FPS hybrid using a modified version of the quake engine I found. Then I realized that none of us can make 3d models that don't look like shit. And even those took a while to make. Then there was setting up the RPG leveling up and stat elements and such.
Grand Theft Release Something! IV: Guns of the Patriots [Sept 22nd]
Well, for the past year or so ours has been going well. Currently I'm trying to fix a bug that keeps causing the game to crash whenever a new party member is added. I think it has something to do with the way that I programed a caterpillar system into the rpg_rt.exe, but its looking like we'll have the demo completed and polished on time.
The forums suck.
I wanted to see something going wrong, uhhhh... you get hit by a virus and its all deleted and somehow it reaches your backups? On second though, ignore previous statements and makeshure it all works without screwing up.
Anyway, about how far are you exactly into making the new forums?
author=WIP link=topic=1864.msg30030#msg30030 date=1220832261By the talk to each other, I take it you mean that they simpley share the same SQL Database for userdata. Beyond actually putting it into the sites design, what else would you possibly be planning to do to put them together better?
Yes. Currently with RMNv2, the main site and the forums are two completely different systems that can talk to each other. With RMN3, the forums are integrated directly into the site and coded by myself. The current forums are SMF and made in PHP.

New Enterbrain Maker - Action Game Maker!
Yes but its one of the more flexible game creators out there, and GM7 isn't that bad.
I'm all for coding things in the more advanced engines you can get out there, theres plenty of freeware ones like the quake engine, and some pretty good RTS and 3D RPG ones too. The main problem is creating a bunch of 3d resources that don't look like shit.

In my magic crystal ball I see... WIP coding a new forum in Python, something he always wanted to do because he can't stand php, wait whats this, everything went boom when transfering all the topics over to it.
New Enterbrain Maker - Action Game Maker!
Hmmmm... Beyond the porting to XBox Live, Game Maker (Free Version or Pro) already does all that. You can also expand it with dlls so you could just use it as a object based compiler for any programming language you like from C++ to Ruby, or you can just use your normal no programming event/action system.
Nice to see that Enterbrain's broadening out though.
